Relief shown by hachures.; Lower left of map: Published & sold by James William Thomson, of Melbourne, Proprietor of this atlas described as “Meeks” also of the “Victorian tablet, and “Shakspeare memorial” all of which are registered and entered at Stationers Hall, 1862.; Lower right of map: Exhibited in the Victorian International Exhibition held in Melbourne during the months October and November 1861. Awarded a first class certificate by the Royal Commissioners.; The Meek’s map was entered in the Victorian Exhibition in Melbourne in 1861 winning a first prize, and was then sent to the London International Exhibition of 1862.
